ISRA WATER BLOCK (WB)
Mix developed for casting elements in contact with water
Usage Instructions
- Can be applied by direct pouring, crane, or pump
- Mix is tailored to the specification, designer, and waterproofing consultant requirements
- Requires proper spacing between formwork and reinforcement to ensure uniform flow of the mix
- Casting mold must be fully sealed
- Reinforcement must be professionally tied to prevent potential water ingress points in the element
Advantages
- Suitable for water reservoirs, wastewater treatment plants, underground elements, and roofs
- Ensures adhesion and protection of reinforcement steel
- Provides water permeability resistance of up to 35 mm (average)
- Designed as the top layer in mass concrete pours
- Includes a quick-setting additive to enable surface finishing
- Capable of autonomous crack healing within the element
- Contains fibers to control cracking in the top layer of the pour
- Supplied as a base in exposure class 2–4 (per IS 118)
