ISRA WATER BLOCK (WB)
Mix developed for casting elements in contact with water in tunnels, marine bridges, foundations, basements, and underground parking structures
Usage Instructions
- Can be applied by direct pouring, crane, or pump (standard/micro/static)
- Maintain proper spacing between formwork and reinforcement to ensure uniform mix flow
- Casting mold must be properly sealed
- Reinforcement must be professionally tied to prevent potential water ingress points in the element
Advantages
- Specially designed for tunnels, marine bridges, foundations, basements, and underground parking structures
- Provides internal concrete sealing capability
- Contains a BG BOND crystalline additive
- Protects reinforcement and enables self-healing of cracks up to 0.4 mm upon water penetration
- Resistant to hydrostatic pressure up to 130 meters
- Israbeton does not provide warranty or support for the crystalline additive included in the mix
- Supplied in exposure class 2–4 (per IS 118)
- Delivered as an additive to the base mix
